Hello Lovelies!

Thank you so much for stopping by and getting to know me a little bit better!

I ALWAYS FELT I WOULD TRAVEL.

Even as a kid I wanted to move to England and get an english accent. But I never did. I never took a gap year. I worked and had my LIFE as I knew it. Until 2016.

I went to visit a friend of mine in London for a month (within 2 days I was hooked with the city)! The difference between the UK people, buildings and culture to that of my Canadian living was incredible. THEN we went to Thailand for 10 days.

AND THAT WAS IT.
I knew I had to move. To see more of the world. 8 short months later I was living in London, where I spent a glorious 2 years exploring the UK and Europe. My first taste of life abroad. I loved it. So the plans began for a year of extended travelling.

I’ve put my freelance life on hold and am currently on my travel journey of a lifetime as a:

FULL TIME WILDERNESS EXPLORER!

Starting the year off in familiar territory:
SOUTH EAST ASIA!

  • Thailand (60 days to get used to things in a foreign country but still have the perks of minimal language barrier)
  • Vietnam (90 days Cycle adventure)
  • Philippines (30 days relaxation)
  • Indonesia – Bali (for my Birthday Month!)

Due to an unexpected change of plans I went next to Australia for Ski Season to pick up some work and to increase the travel funds. This has me having an incredibly interesting time as well as my first stint at  #VANLIFE

So far that’s all that’s been planned or done! I love it because it gives me the flexibility to go where the wind takes me! See things and do things that I research or are recommended to me by other travelers and to take things at my own pace (which is a little bit on the slow side!)

  • Being a beach bum, sun lounging
  • Cycling & gym time
  • Apparently not brushing my hair
  • Cats, Kittens, little floofs
  • Being an amateur photographer and doing anything remotely painterly/artsy
  • Dancing (even though my moves are far from smooth)
  • My freckles
  • Green things, including: plants, my hair and the color in general

I hope you all have the courage to follow your heart and remember this little bit of advise I loved from my time in Chiang Mai:

YOU CAN’T GET LOST IF YOU DON’T CARE WHERE YOU ARE.
